FTP Info
Printing Spectrum FTP site does not allow anonymous log-ins. Contact your Printing Spectrum customer service representative or the pre-press department for a USER NAME and PASSWORD. If your browser supports downloading and uploading files, you may click here for our FTP site. If your internet browser does not support FTP downloads and uploads, you will need to use a FTP utility such as Fetch for the Macintosh or CuteFTP for Windows. Please compress all files before uploading.
Please Read Before Entering Transfer
Thanks to the convenience of our online file transfer module, there's no need to make a special trip just to deliver a disk. You can easily send a file from your computer to ours in a matter of minutes.
Digital Artwork Submission Guidelines:
Be sure to include ALL the files we need to output your project. This includes ALL fonts used and ALL linked files. Adobe PDF is available at www.adobe.com. For Guidelines & Tips on setting up your digital artwork files click here.
Please create an approved PDF copy of the files we are to output in a folder named "PDF for proofing ONLY" and include that folder with the rest of your project files. We will compare our output with your PDFs for quality control purposes.
Use a file compression program like Stuffit (for MAC users) or WinZip (for Windows) to collect all your files into one compressed archive file (.sit or .zip). This is very important for MAC files, which are often damaged during transfer by software that doesn't recognize MAC OS file types. Stuffit is available at www.stuffit.com and WinZip is available at www.winzip.com.
We can accept up to 100 MB in any single transfer. So if your compressed archive file is larger than 100 MB, please split your files into two or more archives and upload them in separate sessions.
Use the "Additional Details" area to tell us anything you think we need to know about your project. If you have any questions about sending your files, please let us know. We are glad to help.
Yes, I have read the digital artwork submission guidelines above.
